Login Process
Access to the eCRS site is restricted. You will need a valid
user account in order to view any attorney-client work
product online. Upon accessing
https://ecrs.mendes.com, you will be presented with a
Login screen similar to the following:
First time users will need to click on 'New user
registration' to submit a registration request.
Returning users may enter the site by typing their email
address and password followed by clicking the 'Sign In'.
Should your password elude you, click on 'Retrieve your
password' to have it sent to you. |

Site Security
eCRS employs several different methods to help maintain the
confidentiality of attorney-client work product:
- Content control -- an Equity Partner of the Firm
will designate what information is accessible by each and
every user account.
- 128-bit SSL -- all communication between your
browser and the eCRS server is encrypted.
- Account monitoring -- your originating IP address
and all activities within the eCRS site will be
recorded. All accounts are subject to review and may be
revoked at any time without prior notice.
- Automatic logoff -- your session will be
terminated following 30 minutes of inactivity.
To further ensure data privacy, we ask that you:
- Do not share your password with anyone.
- Logoff from eCRS as soon as you are done.

eCRS Functionality

Site Navigation
- 'Programs' redirects you to the
business program list.
- 'My Profile' displays your user
account information.
- 'Log Out' ends your current session
and redirects you to the Login page.
- 'Help' displays this help document.

Search Engine
- Information can be filtered using any combination of the
following search criteria:
- 'Year of Account'
- 'Status'
- 'Field' -- based on the
business program being accessed, choices may include
assured name, claimant name, claim number, incurred,
etc.
- When searching by 'Field', a 'Mode' and a
'Value' will need to be specified before clicking
'Search'. Clicking 'Reset' will
set 'Field', 'Mode', and 'Value' to thier default values.
- The default search is set to show
records for the latest year of account with the status set
to 'Open'.

Sorting
- The sort order of the list may be changed by
clicking on an underlined column header. The active
sort order is denoted by a small white arrow.
Repeated clicks on the active sort column will toggle
between ascending and descending order.
- The default sort order is typically by Assured or
by Claimant but may vary depending on the program.

Export to Excel
Your search result list can be exported to Microsoft Excel by
clicking on the 'Index in Excel' link.
Please note the following:
- Export to Excel might take a few minutes, so please
be patient!
- Export to Excel requires Microsoft Excel 97 or higher.
- If you are running Excel 2000 and you are
prompted to enter a password after clicking on
'Index in Excel', then you most likely
need to obtain Microsoft Office 2000
Service Release 1/1a.
This is a known issue with the Office 2000 suite.

Bordereau
Each search result list entry is a link to a claim bordereau
page similar to the following:
- The 'Next' and 'Previous' links may be
used to traverse through your search result list.
- 'Back to List' will return you to the search
engine and result list page.
- 'Print' will send the bordereau to your printer.
- Should you have an inquiry regarding the current viewed
bordereau, click on the
graphic to send an e-mail to the named Equity Partner. The
program name and claim reference will automatically appear
in the subject line of your e-mail window.
